Unique Wedding Card Holder

Looking for a truly one of a kind custom wedding card holder.  You have to see this one! I had it custom made in New York for my own son and daughter in law's wedding last July 30th.  It was used it once at their reception.  It is pristine, not a flaw on it, and has been wrapped in plastic ever since.

She stands approximately 3 feet tall and is approximately 28 inches wide.  The wedding cards slip in the side of her dress, and are secured in a wire cage underneath.  The dress is made of white organza and satin.  Take a look at the pictures to see how much detail is in the dress.  This really has a wow factor.  You should have heard all the comments at the reception about her!  I am selling it for 200.00.  I paid 300.00. You can email me at info@chicuniqueinc.com if you are interested.  The pictures really don't do her justice.  It is simply stunning.

Wedding Scroll Seating Charts

Wedding Scroll Seating Charts
Every once in a while you come across a creative idea that needs to be shared.  That is why http://www.bellejardine.com/ is a website you should look into for seating scrolls which are used instead of place cards.  The average size of the chart is 20" X 30", and is placed on an easel or tabletop near the doorway of the reception.  Table numbers and guests names are displayed for your special occasion and make great keepsakes.

Before You Order Your wedding Cake

Ready to shop for your wedding cake? Read these tips from the WE Channel's "Iced With Sylvia Weinstock's suggestions first!

Incorporate designs from the wedding party into the cake (i.e. dress, flowers, venue etc).
Draw inspiration from the gown to decide the texture of the icing.
Use sketches to get an idea of what the final product will look like.
A bridal bouquet is often a source of inspiration when it comes to creating the look of the wedding cake.
Always ask a lot of questions to find out the bride’s preferences.
While the elements at a wedding reception need to match, there should be a lush mix of details that complement each other when it comes to the design of the wedding cake.
Oftentimes, the best inspiration comes from the bride and groom’s own life stories.
The cake should be well lit during the reception so the colors on it will stand out.
You need to make a cake that is appropriate for the occasion. Always be cognizant of the event – the theme, the colors, and the décor.
Visit many different bakers and sample all of their cakes before choosing your wedding cake designer.
Be sure to incorporate seasons into your cake.
Variety is everything. Look into making each layer a different flavor.
